Since being purchased by Whitbread PLC in 1995 (now owned by Coca Cola Schweppes) Costa Coffee has gone on to become one of the leading coffee retailers across the world.
Paul worked closely with the Costa Team to develop the early regional franchise model in the UK, and played a major role in the early recruitment of franchisees. Costa was seeking to appoint franchisees who had the ability to develop a regional network of franchised outlets-high net worth individuals with a track record of success.
We played an active role in the development of a recruitment model that included both profiling tools and access to funding, resulting in a pipeline of franchisees many of whom are running major businesses now.
